Career and Employment Service - specific information for employers seeking to work with us on the Manawatu campus

Introduction

Career and employment services are a vital resource for Massey University students and graduates. Our work is greatly enhanced by the contact that we have with external organisations including local, national and international employers. We are very keen to work with you and can do so in a range of ways. This includes:

Publicising vacancies - For this we use NZUniCareerHub. In addition however, your opportunities can be advertised as part of our on-campus recruitment activities, or throughout the year for external recruitment.

Advertising is offered via noticeboards and through teaching departments via our established network of career contacts. You can also arrange paid advertising in the student newspaper Chaff, on your own behalf. E-mail: chaff.ed@musa.org.nz

Presentation Facilities - Lecture theatre-type facilities are offered on an hourly basis within specified dates, and are subject to availability. 12 noon to 12:50pm Monday to Friday, 1:00pm to 1:50pm Wednesday, or by negotiation. Seating capacity and audio-visual facilities vary.

Interview Facilities - On-campus interview facilities can be arranged on a case by case basis.

Other ways of working with the Career and Employment Service - We are keen to explore other ways of working with you - through, for example, guest lectures. Please contact us to discuss this.

Contact - Your contact on the Manawatu campus is Nicola Stone. Nicola can be contacted via pncareers@massey.ac.nz or on 06 356 9099 extension 5071.
