Associate Professor Malakai Kolomatangi Welcome to Massey

Kia Orana, Ni sa bula Vinaka, Fakaalofa lahi atu, Tālofa lava, Taloha ni, Malo e lelei, Fakatalofa atu, Mauri, Aloha, Hai, Halo,

Warm Pacific greetings. It is my pleasure to welcome you to Pasifika @ Massey where success is the norm and achievement is celebrated. We are committed to helping you realise your academic aspirations and to providing services that support Pasifika students whether you have chosen to study on-campus or by distance learning.

This site includes information that will help you on your academic journey and connect you with our many services. Our Pasifika staff are empathetic to student needs as they understand the diverse backgrounds and values of Pasifika students, so please do not hesitate to ask for help or support.
Massey University was the first University to recognise the importance of the ever-growing Pasifika communities when, in 2007, a strategy was introduced. Our current Pasifika@Massey Strategy: Growing Pearls of Wisdom outlines a strategic framework to support the educational aspirations and economic needs of Pasifika communities and we are more committed than ever to ensuring Massey University plays its part in supporting the development of Pasifika peoples with relevant research and highly qualified graduates.

I know your time at Massey will be truly rewarding because we will work together to ensure it.
