I made this Wheel, Pedals and Gear shifter using parts left over from other things (Like the computer desk in the photos) and parts bought from the local electronics and hardware store. There's a wealth of information on the internet on how to build these - and they are a lot stronger and more reliable than most of the wheels you can buy in the shops. Also, you can set everything up exactly how you want it, adding personal touches for ease of use or extra realism.
