ASBS-2014-colorAustralasian Systematic Botany Society conference

24-28 November 2014

Next-generation systematics

We look forward to welcoming you to the 2014 ASBS meeting at the Massey University campus in Palmerston North, New Zealand.  Our theme for the meeting will be ‘Next-generation Systematics’ which includes approaching systematics from different perspectives, the use of new technologies, and even training the next generation of practicing systematists. We look forward to diverse presentations of projects from Australasia and around the world.

Please follow the Registration link at the left to register for the conference. The deadline is 20 November.

UPDATE:  Final program and abstracts are now available!  We are excited about the breadth of presentations and look forward to hearing about the exciting work that everyone is doing! We were able to include everyone who submitted an abstract for an oral or poster presentation. We will have one session for all oral presentations…so no running around between rooms and missing out on one that you really wanted to see!

Please pass along the schedule to your colleagues who have not yet registered and encourage them to attend – it will be a great week.

Special conference issue of Australian Systematic Botany

We are inviting all scientists who attend the 2014 ASBS Conference to consider submitting their written manuscript to Australian Systematic Botany. This includes authors of oral and posters presentations and covers all aspects of plant systematic research. Full research papers will be published in Australian Systematic Botany after journal peer review and completion of revision. The deadline for manuscript submission is February 1, 2015. Please contact Daniel Murphy (Editor-in-Chief) for more information.
