SOME DATA AND ANALYSIS FROM THE NEW ZEALAND COMPONENT OF THE 1994 INTERNATIONAL SOCIAL SURVEY PROGRAMME: THE ROLES OF MEN AND WOMEN IN SOCIETY

The New Zealand survey was conducted by staff from the Marketing Department here at Massey University as part of a 22 country coordinated survey. The same survey is conducted in each of the countries. It is an annual effort, and the topic of the survey changes each year.

This part of my Web page contains material derived from the New Zealand survey database, containing 1047 valid responses from people aged 19 and over, plus some extracts of material in the press drawing on some survey results released by PJ Gendall and DF Russell (The Roles of Men and Women in Society, Department of Marketing, Massey University, February 1995). Follow this link to an abridged version of the Gendall and Russell report - it is on the Massey University Women's Studies Homepage, I wonder if they will link over to this section.
