Teaching Experience: Rejoined the R.S.S. team at the start of 2003 as Principal after having taught here in the 80's and early 90's.

Hobbies and Other interests: Enjoy sport, particularly racquet sports, but never seem to be able to find enough time to participate as actively as would hope. Do manage to run at least twice a week. Has a strong vision for education and keep a firm focus on improving the learning outcomes for students.

Content Area(s) of Teaching/Grade Levels of Teaching: Senior digital classroom and have found this to be a great opportunity to implement own knowledge and interest in I.C.T.

Hobbies and Other Interests: Outdoor sports including snowboarding and netball. Enjoying being part of a friendly and supportive staff and working with children who are self-motivated and keen to learn new skills.

Current/Prior Teaching Assignment (name of your school), if any: 10 years experience in teaching Special Needs students at an Intermediate School and now teach part-time in a New Entrants class.

Study interest: Languages, Information Technology Systems, Horticulture and Arts.

Hobbies and other interests/work experience: Playing, coaching and watching sports with family, performing arts (kapahaka), attempts to create own artworks and do as well as gardening.

Helen Wildbore

Study/Teaching interest: Teaching at intermediate level particularly Mathematics and Science.

Hobbies and other interests/work experience: Prior to teacher training worked as a Social Worker for people with disabilities and before that was youth worker.  Currently enjoy being a Mum at home, and do some statistics and compliance work for the Police and some remedial Mathematics work at one of the local schools.

Current Teaching Assignment: I currently have applications with a number of primary schools for teaching positions beginning February 2006.
Study Interest: Curriculum integration – bringing the classroom into a real-life context and combining the skills and knowledge from different areas to tackle issues and interests.

Hobbies and other interests: I lead the singing at our local church and am currently acting as stand-in leader for the youth group. I’m married with two teenage daughters and much of my life is spent acting as a taxi service!

Hobbies and other interests: Non-profit computer-based game development, Piano performance and composition, Fitness and sports nutrition, and Japanese culture.
