I am a Senior Lecturer in Statistics at the Institute of Natural and Mathematical Sciences at Massey University, Albany, New Zealand. I am interested in Gaussian graphical models and their application to high dimensional data, particuarly data from high throughput biological assays.
I grew up in the United States and received my Ph.D. from the Statistics Department at the University of Washington in Seattle. I came to Massey in 2004 following a postdoc split between the Institute of Statistics and Decision Sciences at Duke University (ISDS) and the Statistics and Applied Mathematical Sciences Institute (SAMSI). For more detailed information about my professional activities, interests and background, see the links at right, and my CV (pdf).
