Relay event:
Relay teams consist of two riders, each completing a 30km leg. The relay will start at the same time as the 60km riders. This is a great opportunity for partners, families and friends to have a fun day out. Each section is reasonably flat with two hills in the first section and one mid way through the second. Transition at 30km is at the corner of Hamua-Rongomai & Mangaone Valley Roads. Car parking is available for the relay riders at the transition point prior to 10am. Between 10am and 11.30am the car park will be closed to vehicles to ensure safe passage for cyclists through the transition area. The transition area will be clearly marked with marshals in control. For rider safety, please ensure that you follow the marshals instructions at all times. Incoming riders will be asked to enter the paddock to change their transponders before the new riders head off. Timing for this event will be an overall time not individual. Entry fee for this event is $25.00 per person. This does not include a meal.

Tandem riders:
Entry fee for this event is $45.00 per person and accordingly gives both riders a meal and drink following the event.

Start/finish:
A controlled start from inside the Tui Tower compound until the intersection of Carisbrook and Middle Roads.
