Robert P. Krawcyk

My work involves photophysical and -chemical properties of small molecules, e.g. ab initio calculations of the potential energy surfaces of ground and excited states and reaction dynamics of the excited states. Furthermore, the properties and reactions of coinage metal clusters are investigated, ie. the structures of large gold clusters and gold helices using DFT methods. The transition from nano-wires to more compact Lennard-Jones clusters is also one of the topics of my research.
