Transportation Guidelines for M2VIP’08 Delegates

Important Notice – A shuttle service will be provided during the conference, between the conference venue and hotels/motels. The timetable will be posted at the registration area.  

A. From Domestic/International Airport to Downtown Auckland

Option 1: Airbus - city to airport service (single $15, return $25), www.airbus.co.nz

Option 2: Regular Bus, www.maxx.co.nz

Option 2: Shuttle buses, www.supershuttle.co.nz.

Option 3: Taxis (around $50 - $65) (Note: Taxi directly from Airport to Massey University in Albany $100 - $120)

Option 4: Rental car, http://www.auckland-airport.co.nz/Guide/rental.php.

(Note: If you drive, get on Motorway 1 heading north, turn off at Exit 412, go straight through the roundabout and turn left at the 2^nd traffic lights where Massey is)

B. Going around When You Are in the Downtown Auckland

Option 1: City Circuit – Free Inner City Bus. Every 10 minutes, 8am-6pm, seven days.

Option 2: Link Bus, Ticket $1.6 per ride, http://www.linkbus.co.nz/timetable

Every 10 minutes approximately. Weekdays - 6.00am to 7.00pm, and Saturday 7.00am to 6.00pm.

Every 15 minutes approximately. Evenings to 11.30pm, and Sunday and public holidays 7.00am to 11.30pm

C. Downtown Auckland (or Anywhere in Auckland) to/from Massey University Campus in Albany

Option 1: Regular Bus or Northern Express Bus (NES), www.maxx.co.nz

Use the tool Plan a Journey,

 From (type in, e.g., Britomart Transport Centre or your hotel address)

To (type in Massey University Gate 1)

 Then you will see route diagram and, depart, arrive and duration of the bus trip.

Option 2: Taxi (From Downtown Auckland to Albany, $30- $50)

Option 3: Walking (20~30 min, if you stay in Albany Executive Motel/Albany Oak Motel/Student Hostels)
