Sheeanda Field

Sheeanda is part of the Information Services section at the Turitea Library at the Palmerston North Campus. She is responsible for delivering information services to Māori staff and students in Palmerston North and to extramural students. Sheeanda is also responsible for the selection of resources for the Ngā Kupu Ora collection. Before joining the Library, Sheeanda taught at several schools in the Manawatu and Southern Hawke 's Bay areas. She is currently enrolled in the Master of Library and Information Studies programme at Victoria University. Her main areas of interest are whakapapa, Ngāti Porou history and woven arts.

Spencer Lilley
Kaihautū Māori / Māori Services Manager
(Te Ātiawa, Muaūpoko and Ngāpuhi)

Spencer Lilley

Spencer is based at the Turitea Library at the Palmerston North campus and is responsible for the planning and strategic development of Māori services across all Massey's libraries. His other responsibilities include advocacy for Treaty of Waitangi and Māori issues, liaison with staff and students and delivering information services. Spencer has worked in libraries for over 20 years and has been at Massey University Library since 1996. Prior to taking up his role as Kaihautū Maori in 2004, he was the Manager of the Hokowhitu Library. His main areas of professional interest are information literacy, indigenous knowledge systems and collection development.
