Come join us in the Massey Wellington campus library for an engaging exploration of writing in fiction and nonfiction, with Jess Richards and Gigi Fenster, chaired by Ingrid Horrocks.
Gigi Fenster's first book, The Intentions Book, was a finalist in the New Zealand Post Book Awards and was longlisted for the Commonwealth Prize and the IMPAC Dublin Award. Her second book, Feverish was born out of a PhD in Creative Writing, which she completed in 2016. Gigi teaches Creative Writing at Massey and at Rimutaka Prison. Jess Richards is the author of three literary fiction novels, Snake Ropes (2012) Cooking with Bones (2014) and City of Circles (2017) which are published by Sceptre, Hodder & Stoughton. She is currently studying towards a creative arts PhD which explores the use of artistic processes within creative writing practice at the College of Creative Arts, Massey University.
