|International Visitor Research Fund 2020|
The International Visitor Research Fund promotes high quality research outputs through international collaboration. It does this through supporting the international travel and associated costs of visits to Massey University from highly respected overseas researchers from reputable research institutions. More details on the purpose of the fund are set out in the IVRF Guidelines for Applicants.
There are two rounds of funding each year, opening in May and October. Applications are considered by a Selection Committee chaired by the Provost. Successful IVRF applicants receive up to $5,000 to assist in meeting airfares, accommodation, or any other costs associated with the visit such as holding a workshop, domestic travel or media promotion. Visits must be for a minimum of 14 days. See the IVRF Guidelines for Applicants for more details on the purpose of the fund, assessment criteria and decision-making processes.
