Massey University’s Centre for Professional and Continuing Education has been named as the best venue for occupational English testing in New Zealand.

The announcement was made last month at the Occupational English Test forum in Melbourne. Awards were presented to the testing venue in each region that received the best customer service score, based on survey feedback from candidates.

Centre for Professional and Continuing Education director Andrea Flavel says credit for the award must go to the centre’s English language testing team. “The award is highly valued as it is based on feedback from testing candidates about their experience taking the test at Massey University,” she says.

Other award winners include Exams Catalunya for the Europe and United Kingdom region, Oman Medical Specialty Board for the Middle East, University of New England for Australia and Planet Edu Mumbai and ICS Kaplan San Juan City for the Asia-Pacific region.

The Occupational English Test is an international English language test that assesses the communication skills of healthcare professionals seeking to register and practise in an English-speaking environment.
