Their award citation credited the team of nine staff with delivering a consistently high level of customer service that is both professional and caring.

The team took away another win, with the village’s property manager Nicola Valentine presented with the V-Star Individual Award, ahead of more than 20 finalists from across Australasia.

The award citation described Ms Valentine, who has been in the role since July last year, as a “person who does everything she can to make sure staff have the tools they need to do their jobs and that everything runs smoothly at an operational level”.

Campus registrar Andrea Davies said the awards were much deserved. “The success of the team is representative of the excellent partnership enjoyed between them and the Massey accommodation team, which is responsible for students’ pastoral care. The relationship is an excellent example of cross-boundary teamwork.”

Campus Living Villages director of human resources – Australia Rita di Nola says the annual awards provide an opportunity to celebrate all the great work staff do during the year.
