The fund offers one scholarship a year to students who are enrolling full-time in their first undergraduate degree studying Japanese language at any New Zealand tertiary provider.
The Scholarship is valued at $5,000 per annum for three years.
The fund offers one Master's scholarship annually and one Doctoral scholarship every three years for students undertaking research in Japanese studies at any New Zealand tertiary provider.
The Master's scholarship is valued at $15,000 per annum for one year.
The Doctoral scholarship is valued at $25,000 per annum for three years.
