Andrijana moved from the Republic of Macedonia to New Zealand in 2005 in search of better opportunities for her education and career. She graduated with a Bachelor of Communication (majoring in Marketing Communication and minor in Media Studies/Expressive Arts) in 2009 at Massey University as a Massey Scholar while also being on the Dean’s List for 2007 and 2008. The next year she completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Administration with Distinction in Management.
Andrijana spent three semesters tutoring at the Auckland campus of Massey University for courses such as Cross-cultural communication, Written Communication, and Speaking: Theory and Practice. In 2013 she submitted her Master thesis titled: “Leadership in network marketing: Exploring the perspectives of leaders in network marketing companies”. Her academic interest was in researching what distinguishes leaders from non-leaders in network-form sales teams.
Professionally, Andrijana has multiple years of work experience in project management, recruitment, PR, sales and marketing in both NZ and Macedonia. She has also been a volunteer in the YMCA of Auckland for six years and has served on its Board as a member and vice-president. While living in Macedonia, she was actively involved in the national debate organisation as debater and coach. She also volunteered as a peer educator in the area of sexual and reproductive health and rights of young people across the country.
From the end of 2013, Andrijana moved back in Macedonia to be reunited with her family. She is currently working as a Business Operations Leader helping a foreign investment company build large manufacturing capacity in Macedonia. Andrijana enjoys traveling, has entrepreneurial affinities, and plans to start a venture in the near future helping small businesses.
