The Fuji Xerox Scholarship for Women provides support for a female student to enrol in a Massey Business School degree at Massey University.
Value and tenure
The value of the scholarship is $10,000.
The scholarship is tenable for one year.
Typical number on offer
Two scholarships will typically be offered.
•be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
•be eligible to enrol in a Massey Business School undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the year of award. Note: Doctoral students are not eligible to apply for this scholarship
•be intending to enrol full-time in at least 120 credits on Massey University’s Manawatu, Wellington or Albany campuses
•have previously completed tertiary level study and are returning to study due to the impacts on their life from Covid-19
Selection will be based on:
•career achievements to date as evidenced in a curriculum vitae
•the applicant’s supporting statement outlining the reason for undertaking the proposed study
The scholarship is awarded by the University Scholarships Committee on the recommendation of a selection panel nominated by the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Massey Business School
Conditions of the scholarship
In recommending the award of scholarship, the University Scholarships Committee will take account of other scholarships and bursaries held by the applicant with a view to achieving a reasonable distribution of monies among qualifying applicants.
Payments will be made in two equal instalments following the official withdrawal date for the semester of enrolment.
