The funds for the bursary have been donated by Massey University staff, Dr Ian Stringer and Associate Professor Alastair Robertson, from conservation-related contracts they held. In 2019, the Heseltine Trust provided an additional $75,000 to the corpus of the fund and the Ecology Bursary was renamed the Heseltine Ecology Bursary.
What you'll be studying
This is a postgraduate scholarship. You will want to or be undertaking research in one of these subject areas: - conservation biology - ecology - zoology
Eligibility criteria
You must:
- be studying full-time
- study on the Manawatū campus
- be studying in a specific subject area.

- your academic transcripts for any tertiary study completed outside of Massey University
