Waitawhiti Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship

This scholarship is supported by a gift from Charles and Margaret Richardson, who farmed at Waitawhiti Station near Eketahuna. The scholarship is in memory of their sons, who both attended Massey Agricultural College. Graham Speedy Richardson was a member of the Royal New Zealand Air Force and died in 1944. Paul James Richardson was shot in a farm accident.

We're looking for an undergraduate student, preferably from the Wairarapa, studying agriculture or horticulture.

This is an undergraduate scholarship.

When choosing our recipient, we will consider your academic achievements and your home town. We will also consider other scholarships or bursaries already held.

Eligibility

You must:

  • be studying a specific subject
  • be a New Zealand citizen
  • be studying full-time
