Royal Canin Health Nutrition for Cats and Dogs Veterinary Science Scholarship – 4th Year BVSc

This scholarship is funded by Royal Canin New Zealand. Royal Canin is a pet food company specialising in dog and cat food.

This is an undergraduate scholarship. You will be a fourth-year student enrolled in the Bachelor of Veterinary Science.

When choosing our recipient, we will consider your academic achievements and intention to pursue a career in this industry.

Eligibility

You must:

  • be studying full-time
  • be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
  • be studying a specific programme
  • be in the fourth year of your degree
  • have a grade point average as outlined in this award's regulations.

Application checklist

Please include the following with your application:

  • a personal statement including your intended plans for work within the Veterinary industry after graduation, why you deserve to be awarded this scholarship and how you intend to use the scholarship funds
  • your CV
  • two written references
  • a 1500-word essay on the following topic: ROYAL CANIN® has made a commitment to sustainability for future generations.
