Restrictions
This scholarship has been established in recognition of the valuable contribution made by Associate Professor John P Skipworth to the Department of Botany and Zoology from 1960 to 1991. In 1992 the Department of Botany and Zoology was split into the Departments of Ecology and Plant Biology, each of which now administers part of the funds. The funds for the scholarship have been provided from royalties received by Dr Nelson Pomeroy through his research on bumble bees and pollination.
