The Te Awamutu Veterinary Association, trading as Vetora Waikato and Tokoroa and Districts Veterinary Services, was incorporated in 1943 and has been providing services to farmer members and local communities for over 75 years. Vetora now have eight clinics throughout the central North Island from Hamilton to Taupo. The Vetora Work Experience Grant has been established to financially assist veterinary students to cover transport and living costs while seeing practice.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for a third-year student who is interested in farm or mixed animal practice.

What you'll be studying

This is an undergraduate study grant. You will be enrolled in the Bachelor of Veterinary Science.

Eligibility criteria

You must:

  • be in the third year of your degree
  • be studying a specific programme
  • normally reside in New Zealand
  • be willing to spend two weeks in seeing practice.
