Scholarships and awards

This bursary was established in 2019 by the Pakistan Association of New Zealand, an organisation that has been operating since 1989 under a guiding principle to serve the Pakistani community in New Zealand and promote cultural and education activities.

We're looking for a Pakistani student who is either a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident, or on a valid student visa. You will have demonstrable evidence of community involvement.

This is a postgraduate bursary. You will be studying in the area of science, engineering, technology or management.

Eligibility

You must:

• be of Pakistani descent
• be enrolled in postgraduate study in one of the specified areas
• meet the grade requirements outlined in the regulations

Application checklist

Please include the following with your application:

• a statement including a short essay outlining why you are undertaking your present degree programme. This should also include any information on your previous expected of working in the field of study, community involvement and your career plans
• your academic transcripts for any tertiary study completed outside of Massey University
