PhD Fellowship - Global land use for the delivery of nutrition

The research will be undertaken at the Riddet Institute in Palmerston North, New Zealand. The Riddet Institute is a New Zealand Centre of Research Excellence hosted by Massey University and the student will be enrolled in the College of Science at Massey University.

The PhD candidate will use data science and modelling approaches to demonstrate how global agricultural land is currently being used, the implications for the nutritional profile of the foods produced, and how this translates to delivery of nutrition to populations. The project will complement the current work of the Sustainable Nutrition Initiative and the DELTA Model.

Your application with all relevant documents must be submitted to the Riddet Institute. Additional information regarding the requirements as a PhD student can be requested by contacting Terri Palmer.

If you would like to know more about this opportunity, please contact Prof Warren McNabb. Do not submit your application to this email address.
