The Centenary History Project (CHP) of New Zealand and the First World War is a partnership between Massey University, the New Zealand Defence Force and the Ministry for Culture and Heritage. It aims to produce definitive histories of New Zealand experiences during one of the deadliest conflicts in world history.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for a postgraduate students researching a topic related to New Zealand’s involvement in and experiences of the First World War.

What you'll be studying

This is a postgraduate scholarship. You will be studying a masters or doctoral degree.

Eligibility criteria

You must be:

  • studying full-time
  • a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
  • undertaking a 120 credit research course with a focus on a topic related to New Zealand’s involvement in and experiences of the First World War
