School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences

I have been an academic at Massey University since 1999. My original qualifications are in computer science and information systems, and I have a more recent qualification in higher education. I am interested in applied research, in using advanced technologies to bring benefits to institutions, teachers and learners. I have worked in the areas of technology-supported assessment and lifelong learning, and many further areas in teaching and learning. My work in higher education aims to improve academic development approaches and provide relevant contexts for learning about teaching. I lead Massey's Research on Teaching and Learning Group.
