Research Expertise

Research Interests

Dr Allen is a member of the Health and Ageing Research Team and is based in the School of Psychology. Her research focus is on the social and health determinants of wellbeing in later life. Her current programme of research utilises data from national longitudinal surveys and national health records to examine factors which enable and prevent work participation among older adults.
