Senior Lecturer in Farm Management
Doctoral Co-Supervisor School of Agriculture and EnvironmentSimone is an applied agricultural production economist researching productivity, weather, climate change, and the economics of agricultural production and environment interactions. After graduating from University of Rome Tor Vergata in 2004 in Economics and from HTW Berlin in International and Development Economics (M.A.), Simone pursued his M.Sc. and Ph.D. at the University of Maryland College Park, also thanks to a U.S. Fulbright Graduate Scholarship. He worked as postdoctoral researcher at HU Berlin and as Research Fellow in the European Commission Joint Research Centre. Before joining Massey University, Simone was awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship at INRA in France.
