I am a social and health researcher and evaluator, with a PhD in critical health psychology. I maintain an active, competitively funded research programe in the area of gender, sexuality and health, and contribute to the SHORE & Whariki Research Centre’s wider public health research programme.
I have conducted research funded by a number of agencies, including: Ministry of Health, NZ AIDS Foundation, Health Workforce New Zealand, Health Promotion Agency, Fire and Emergency New Zealand, Rule Foundation, NZ Society for the Study of Diabetes, Counties Manukau DHB, Hawke’s Bay DHB, Auckland City, Waitakere City Council.
