After commencing employment at Massey University, Albany I have been co-ordinating research trials in several different strands of nutrition. As a Research Trials Manager I regularly deal with ethical proceedures, protocol design, literature research and review, data management and the recruitment  and collection of data from volunteers that make our research possible. My role also consists of the management of the School's archived data and Sharepoint/ITS systems, as a contact point and coordinator.

I am a co-coordinator of the nutrition symposia series, delivering the latest research in the areas of early life, the older adult and sports nutrition.

I coordinate the School of Exercise, Sport and Nutrition's quarterly body composition clinic, servicing the public domain in measurement of fat and fat-free mass.

Graduating with Msc. Applied Sport and Exercise Physiology from The University of Wales, Bangor in 2007, I worked with elite performance athletes in the fields of nutrition, hydration, body composition and rehabilitation before relocating to the Medical Research Council - Human Nutrition Research, Cambridge. There I co-ordinated several government-funded RCTs focusing on paediatric nutrition, cardiovascular disease risk factors, weight loss management and body composition validation and developed a wide range of practical, laboratory, ICT and literature writing attributes.
