I have made a long standing contribution to the property discipline at Massey University. I have taught into ten different papers in subject areas related to property valuation, real estate investment and farm management.
My research interests are wide ranging and in recent years have included; property education, housing values, and rural property markets.
I am a registered valuer with professional valuation experience in both residential and rural valuation. I am a very well respected member of the valuation profession as evidenced by my status as a Fellow of the Property Institute of New Zealand (2006) and the PINZ Academic Award (2007).
I have been involved in the development of agricommerce and agribusiness programmes for many years and my sustained practical farming experience has been very valuable in programme development and teaching in this area.
