Massey University campus-based Living Labs recognise the value of promoting opportunities for collaboration between students, academic staff and operational staff. These collaborations provide students with real-world skills and enable the university to improve campus sustainability.
A Massey Living Laboratory is a paper, report, and or study that analyses an issue related to Massey University’s campuses. Academic staff, students and facilities management staff work together to formulate the research question, undertake the research and find a solution to an issue related to campus sustainability. Projects may include, for example, energy, waste or biodiversity.
