Studying my PhD in New Zealand has been the best experience.
The Massey Institute of Education has a strong reputation among New Zealand universities so it is my pride to study here. My university in Thailand has a MOU with Massey University so this made it easy for me to apply here. I first completed an English language course at Massey followed by a short course in Qualitative and Quantitative Research in Education.
These short courses gave me a strong foundation to begin my PhD project. The best thing about Massey is the strong team of International Student Support. I am very appreciative of the support and guidance I received from them. My supervisors looked after me very well. They provided lots of valuable suggestions for my study and gave me spiritual support, allowing me to maintain a balanced life between my study and family.
As a family, we enjoyed travelling around New Zealand. Massey Palmerston North has the best campus in the country – beautiful nature, laid back feeling and free buses! Palmerston North is a wonderful family town and has very good schools.
My husband also studied his PhD at Massey and we both really enjoyed studying here and raising our children in this country.
