CPA Australia believes the work of professional accountants is fundamental to the stability, efficiency and sustainability of individual companies, financial markets and the economies of entire countries. Ultimately their work enables capital to flow to the most productive projects and ensures that standards of living increase. We are one of the world’s largest accounting bodies with a membership of around 163,000 finance, accounting and business professionals. Core services include education, continuing professional development, technical support and advocacy for the profession. The CPA designation is recognised globally, with 22 offices worldwide and members in 125 countries.
CPA PROGRAM EXEMPTION FOR 110.807 (TAX)
The 110.807 Tax paper is unique in that it is the one university subject in New Zealand that has been recognised by CPA Australia as giving a (non-specific elective) exemption from the CPA Program. This means that Massey University graduates who have passed 110.807 Tax and go on to take the CPA Program, would only have to complete 5 CPA subjects rather than 6.
