With ACCA, you have the flexibility to progress through the exams at your own pace and gain your practical experience across a number of sectors and with a number of employers, anywhere in the world. If you receive up to 9 exemptions from the Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills exams, you can complete the ACCA Qualification within 1-1.5 years by completing the remaining 4 strategic professional level exams.
Exemptions from Massey University
Students studying the following degree programmes, at Massey University, may be exempt from up to nine of ACCA’s 13 papers.
Bachelor of Accountancy (BAcc)
Bachelor of Business Studies (BBus)
Master of Professional Accountancy and Finance (MPAF)

The Accelerate program is a special arrangement between ACCA and Massey University, which gives students the opportunity to register and start preparing for its Strategic Professional level exams with ACCA before you graduate.

Eligible ACCA members (with 5 years of full ACCA membership, good standing and ANZ residency) are able to obtain CA ANZ membership, providing them access to a wider network and better market recognition in Australia and New Zealand. Likewise, CA ANZ members (5 years of full CA ANZ membership and good standing) have access to the ACCA membership without having to take further exams.
