University research centres

The College of Health is home to two university research centres that draw interdisciplinary teams of Massey academics together, working in partnership with external collaborators. They carry out world-class research, focusing on major national and international issues.

Research Centre for Hauora and Health

The RCHH’s hauora and health research covers everything from mātauranga and kaupapa Māori to environmental and occupational health.

SHORE and Whāriki Research Centre

Two multidisciplinary research groups working in a Treaty of Waitangi partnership model to improve health and wellbeing nationally and globally.

Sleep/Wake Research Centre

The Sleep/Wake Research Centre conducts research into a range of areas of sleep and waking function, including healthy sleep across the lifespan and fatigue and shift work management.
