Abstract submission

We are accepting abstracts for standard talks (20 minutes + question time) or for lightning talks (4 minutes plus time for one or maybe two quick questions). If you do not explicitly specify that your preference is to give a lightning talk then it is assumed you will deliver a standard length talk.

Please use one of the templates provided here, either for a single author  (presenter) Single Author Abstract (2 KB) or for a presentation on behalf of multiple authors Multiple Authors Abstract (2 KB) . N.B. The ORSNZ wishes to remind its young practitioners that to be eligible for the YPP prize, you must submit a full paper submission by email to the ORSNZ. Clarification about the YPP prize is on the ORSNZ prize page.

Once you have completed the template (instructions are inside the template), you will send it to the conference organising team address (NZSA2018@massey.ac.nz). We will review the submission and let you know if your presentation has been accepted. We hope to complete this within one week of your submission; we understand that some attendees will need this confirmation before they can complete registration. Please ensure you have submitted your abstract before 1 October if this confirmation is crucial for your attendance.

We will then ask you  to review the appearance of your submission in the draft book of abstracts.

If you fail to register for the conference (including payment) before 1 November, your abstract will be removed from the draft book of abstracts. We will allocate speaking slots in early November.
