New Zealand Centre for Precision Agriculture (NZCPA) creates practical land management solutions through the use of leading-edge precision technology tools. Whether you are an individual farmer or a large corporation or government agency, we offer relevant, leading research and site-specific consultancy to help enhance the economic and environmental performance of your land.
Our world-leading research focuses on GIS, precision agriculture, and resource management. This includes investigations of fertiliser use, animal tracking, resource management and remote sensing. Of particular interest to farmers will be the work on identifying nutrient content of farms from the air and delivering fertiliser by air.
Our UAVs and sensor systems are some of the most advanced in the world. We have dedicated UAVs and pasture meters and we are the only organisation outside Europe and the Americas using the Fenix Hyperspectral Imaging System.
