The Vitamin D Research Centre is domiciled in the Institute of Food, Nutrition and Human Health at Massey University and incorporates researchers from the Division of Human Nutrition and Physiology on both the Manawatu and Albany campuses.
The research collaborations of the Vitamin D Research Centre cross departmental, institutional, and even international boundaries, and we are proud to list as collaborators some of the leading vitamin D researchers in the world.
From a Public Health perspective, members of the Vitamin D Research Centre are motivated to improve the status of those population groups who are demonstrably at risk of vitamin D deficiency, and the associated negative health consequences. To this end we welcome the involvement of health professionals working in clinical and community settings.
