Yuliandri
Master of TESOL Leadership*
As a young teacher working in ESOL /EFL contexts I chose to enrol in the TESOL programme because I thought it would suit my career demands and provide me with in-depth insights towards existing professional and research practices. During my study I was pleased at the way the lecturers did their best to contextualize both materials and curriculum contents to meet my existing working atmosphere. Since graduating, I have found that both theoretical knowledge in the field of SLT, as well as the experience of doing research report has guided me and the direction of my teaching and research practice. I’ve been introduced to a wide range of options and approaches, especially in pedagogy, and they are having a positive impact on my teaching approach.
* Now known as the Master of Education (TESOL Leadership)
