The Psychology Clinic offers a wide ranges of services for children, adolescents, adults and older adults. Our clinic specialises in neuropsychological assessment and neuropsychological rehabilitation, and it is one of the largest providers of these services in the country. We also specialise in child, adolescent and family therapy. We hold ACC contracts for clinical psychology services and neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation.
Services are provided by senior clinical psychologists, registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board with clinical scopes of practice and intern psychologists in the final stages of their doctoral training in clinical psychology, working under the supervision of senior clinical staff.
The clinic does not provide services for students of Massey University as there is a separate Student Counselling Service for this.
GPs and other health professionals or healthcare organisations, case managers and educational services may refer clients to the clinic. Members of the public may also self-refer. Check out the Contact Us pages for contact information.
Usual hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Sessions offered after hours by special arrangement.
The Psychology Clinic operates on a fee for service basis. Fees may be met by external agencies for some clients. For clients seeing intern psychologists, we offer a sliding scale of fees based on income and number of dependents.
