Fetal programming, birth and lactogenesis, Nutrient supply to gland and metabolic disease. Factors affecting milk yield and composition. Puberty, breeding seasons, fertility, fecundity and technological developments in reproduction. Practicals on analysis of reproductive data, anatomy, histology, and reproductive technologies.
Note(s): The Distance offering will only be run if 5 or more students are enrolled. Students are required to have clean overalls and boots (working or gumboots) during practical classes. No other shoe, labcoats or old clothes" will be acceptable."
