118.757 Cardiorespiratory Medicine for Small Animal Veterinarians (15 credits)

The principles and practice of cardiorespiratory medicine in dogs and cats for veterinary graduates. Pathophysiology, diagnosis and management of cardiac and respiratory disease.

Note(s): Cardiac and respiratory diseases are common in dogs and cats. This course will give you the skills to correctly differentiate them from each other and from diseases of other body systems. Learn how to choose and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests, diagnose, and manage common cardiac and respiratory diseases and when to refer.

This course is run over Semester 2 and Semester 3.
