Expected prior learning Requirements help

  • Students should have studied at least 20 credits from NCEA Level 3 Physics, or an equivalent level in an alternative assessment system, or passed course 124.100. It is expected that students have a good grounding in wave systems, mechanical systems and electrical systems. For NCEA qualifications, studies in unit standards AS91523, AS91524 and AS91526 would be beneficial. All students must have a good grounding in maths. In particular, you must have studied NCEA Level 3 Calculus or equivalent.
