161.743 Statistical Reliability and Survival Analysis (15 credits)
Lifetime data occur in a wide variety of contexts: medical, demographic, industrial, economic. This course gives an introduction to the theory and practice of analysing lifetime data, commonly called survival analysis in medical contexts and reliability analysis in engineering.
Note(s): Access to a Windows PC is required for analysis of data. Distance offering: Access to a Windows PC and an approved statistics package is required for analysis of data.
Note: You may enrol in a postgraduate course (that is a 700-, 800- or 900-level course) if you meet the prerequisites for that course and have been admitted to a qualification which lists the course in its schedule.
