179.210 Social Work Theories, Assessment and Interventions (15 credits)

An examination of the theories and models which inform social and community work practice. Emphasis will be placed on the relevance of these models to the social services in Aotearoa/New Zealand.

Note(s): Students in the Bachelor of Social Work enrolled in the Distance course offering are required to attend the in-person contact workshop. Students in the Bachelor of Social Work enrolled in Internal course offerings are required to attend the skills labs.

    General Prerequisite: At least 45 credits from 100 level.
