Entry requirements

Admission to the Bachelor of Science (Honours) endorsed in Genetics requires you to have

  • a Bachelor of Science degree, or close equivalent, with a major in Genetics, with a minimum B+ average in the majoring 300-level courses; or
  • a Bachelor degree, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Science and Technology in Genetics, or close equivalent, with a minimum B+ average in the majoring 300-level courses.

Bachelor of Science (Honours) (Genetics) structure

You will follow a flexible course of study, which will consist of courses totalling at least 120 credits, comprising courses from the Schedule including 162.760, 203.762 and a 30 credit research report (203.798).


Time Limits for completion

You must complete within one year of first enrolling as a full-time student, or within three years of first enrolling as a part-time student.
