This endorsement will carry the award of Distinction or Merit if completed at a satisfactory standard within one year of first enrolling in full-time study or within three years of first enrolling in part-time study. A 120 credit postgraduate diploma must be completed within a maximum of four years.
If you successfully complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Mathematics Education) you may apply for entry into the Master of Education, providing you have at least a B grade average and meet the specified criteria for entry to the Masters programme.

276.700 Developing Mathematical Inquiry Communities
276.782 Mathematics Education
276.784 Current Issues in Teaching Mathematics
276.785 Making Mathematics Accessible
276.730 Enterprising STEM Education
Up to 30 credits may be selected from the Elective Schedule for the PGDipEd or any of the other endorsement schedules (including Mathematics Education).
A Special Topic in Computational Thinking for Educators (30 credits) is offered as a Double Semester course for 2020. In order to take this course, applicants should add 230.791 Special Topic Humanities and Social Science as a Special Request.
