This endorsement will carry the award of Distinction or Merit if completed at a satisfactory standard within one year of first enrolling in full-time study or within three years of first enrolling in part-time study. A 120 credit postgraduate diploma must be completed within a maximum of four years.
If you successfully complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Teaching and Learning) you may apply for entry into the Master of Education, providing you have at least a B grade average and meet the specified criteria for entry to the Masters programme.
At least three courses (90 credits) from:
254.702 Facing Big Questions in Education
263.701 Enhancing Teacher Learning and Mentoring
263.704 Advanced Studies in Motivation and Learning
263.705 Assessment for Learning and Teaching
263.706 Adolescent Learning and Engagement
Up to 30 credits may be selected from the Elective Schedule for the PGDipEd or any of the other endorsement schedules (including Teaching and Learning).
